How does Remmy work?
Before bed, tap Start. Remmy listens through your microphone and saves short clips whenever it hears talking, snoring, or unexpected sounds. In the morning, you wake up to the highlights — playable, and ready to share.
Does my audio leave my phone?
No. Everything Remmy records — the audio, the transcripts, the sounds it detects — stays on your device. Sleep-talk is transcribed on-device, and nothing is uploaded to us or the cloud. See our
Privacy Policy.
Remmy didn't catch anything. What happened?
A few things to check: make sure you granted Microphone and Speech Recognition permissions (iOS Settings → Remmy); place your phone close to your bed, screen-up, not buried under blankets; and keep it plugged in with Remmy open on your nightstand for the night. Some nights are just quiet, too.
Should I keep the app open while I sleep?
Yes — for the most reliable capture, plug your phone in and leave Remmy open on your nightstand. It's designed to run through the night while it listens.
How do I change my alarm or bedtime reminder?
Open the Sleep tab to set your alarm time and smart-wake window. The optional bedtime reminder lives in Settings.
Does Remmy detect sleep apnea or health issues?
No. Remmy is for entertainment and curiosity only. It is not a medical device and does not detect, diagnose, or monitor sleep apnea or any medical condition. For health concerns, please see a qualified professional.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Remmy to change or cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.
How do I delete my recordings?
You can delete individual nights inside the app, or remove everything at once by deleting Remmy from your device. Because your data lives only on your phone, that's all it takes.
What do I need to run Remmy?
An iPhone running iOS 17 or later.
