Key Point: AxeLog is designed as a privacy-first application. All your data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to external servers. We do not collect, store, or have access to your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
AxeLog is designed to operate entirely on your device. We do not collect any personal information from you. However, the App stores certain data locally on your device to provide its functionality.
2.1 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

All of this data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and remains on your device. We do not have access to this data.

- Any data transmitted to external servers
3. Device Permissions
AxeLog may request certain device permissions to enable specific features. These permissions are optional and you can deny them while still using the core functionality of the App.
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Local Storage
All App data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including:
- Device passcode/biometric protection
- iOS data protection and encryption
- App sandboxing
4.2 No Cloud Sync
AxeLog does not include cloud synchronization features. Your data does not leave your device and is not backed up to our servers (because we don't have servers for this purpose).
4.3 iCloud Backup
If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, your App data may be included in your device backup. This is controlled by your iOS settings and Apple's iCloud service, not by AxeLog. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for information about iCloud.
5. Third-Party Services
AxeLog uses minimal third-party services:
5.1 Apple App Store
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. In-app purchases (Supporter Pack) are processed by Apple. Apple may collect certain information as part of this process. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for details.
5.2 No Analytics or Tracking
AxeLog does not use any analytics services, crash reporting tools, or advertising SDKs. We do not track your usage of the App in any way.
6. Data Sharing
We do not share your data with anyone because:

- All data remains on your device
Your practice sessions, recordings, song library, and all other App data are yours alone.
7. Children's Privacy
AxeLog does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since all data is stored locally on the device and we do not collect any information, there is no risk of us collecting data from children.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us. However, since our App does not collect or transmit any data, this scenario should not occur.
The App is suitable for users of all ages interested in tracking their guitar practice.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
8.1 How Long Data is Stored
Data within the App is stored on your device for as long as you choose to keep it. You have full control over your data.
8.2 Deleting Your Data
You can delete your data at any time through the following methods:
- Individual items: Delete specific practice sessions, songs, goals, or recordings within the App
- All App data: Delete the App from your device to remove all associated data
- Reset within App: Use the App's settings to reset or clear specific data categories
Once deleted, data cannot be recovered as we do not maintain any backups or copies.
9. Your Rights
Because AxeLog stores all data locally on your device and we do not collect any personal information, you inherently have complete control over your data:
- Access: All your data is accessible within the App on your device
- Portability: Your recordings can be exported/shared using iOS sharing features
- Deletion: You can delete any or all data at any time
- Control: You decide what data to enter and keep
10. International Users
AxeLog is available worldwide through the Apple App Store. Since all data is stored locally on your device and we do not transfer any data to external servers, there are no international data transfer concerns.
The App complies with international privacy regulations including GDPR (European Union) and CCPA (California) by design, as we do not collect, store, or process any personal data.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
